Fortnite New XP Bug for Season 6: Swimming and Gliding XP

Fortnite Season 6 is now out and players are already discovering many new bugs in the game. The most popular are the Fortnite New XP Bug that all the players are rushing to exploit.
The last Fortnite XP bug involved collecting meat or making Primal weapons. However, the latest bugs are different and can only be triggered once per game. The bugs require the players to complete certain tasks in Spawn Island.
The two bugs are:
- Covering a certain distance Swimming in the Ocean
- Gliding a certain distance.
The bug was discovered by none other than Glitch King, who is a popular Fortnite YouTuber. In the video posted by Glitch King, he showcased the two very simple bugs in the game.
However, it will be important to note that the Fortnite New XP Bug doesn’t work in Creative and Battle Lab modes.

Fortnite New XP Bug for Season 6
Players need to start as soon as they enter Spawn Island to make use of the bugs. In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, players need to choose only one bug they wish to use after entering Spawn Island.
The Fortnite New XP Bug has some very severe time constraints and players need to be quick on their feet to make use of it. In short, players need to finish the task before the Battle Bus takes off to take the players to the island.
Swimming
Players need to first go to the Spawn Island, Upon spawning players immediately need to start swimming in the ocean.
They need to keep swimming until the Battle Bus timer hits zero.
This will give them a quest that’s been completed once they are inside the Battle Bus. This rewards them with 12, 500 XP.
Gliding
Players need to immediately start building a wooden structure after landing on the Spawn Island.
Build a high construct from where you can glide.
Jump off from the structure and start gliding. The players need to start immediately as they need to cover a certain distance for the bug to trigger.
Players need to keep gliding until the Battle Bus timer hits zero. If the bug is properly executed, players will get XP once inside the Battle Bus.
These bugs are not expected to be there for long in the game. Epic Games will very soon remove these. Therefore, players are advised to make use of the Fortnite New XP Bug as soon as possible.
