USMNT look at Frenchman Thierry Henry as a possible replacement for Gregg Berhalter
The USMNT has emerged as a potential destination for France’s Olympic team head coach Thierry Henry following his recent impressive performances. He is the second Frenchman, after Patrick Vieira, to be considered a possible candidate.
The USMNT have been forced to activate an emergency plan and search for a new head coach to lead the way, after they sacked former manager Gregg Berhalter. He was fired after a disappointing Copa America performance where the team did not advance past the group stages. Recent reports indicate that Henry’s name is under consideration, after he led France to the Olympic final.
