I really apologize for the way I acted tonight. That is not who I am and not how I ever want to treat people. I let my frustration in the heat of the moment get the best of me and I’m extremely disappointed with how I handled the situation. That’s not acceptable behavior and I want to apologize to the umpire, the tournament, and the fans. I’ll be better for y’all.

Frances Tiafoe wrote on his Instagram story

He ended his season after defeat at the Paris Masters. In Bercy, he failed to go past his opening round as he lost to Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in three sets.

Tiafoe, however, is enjoying his off-season with his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield as they recently attended the Kansas City Chiefs versus Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead Stadium. Broomfield uploaded pictures and videos from their visit which also included selfies with American pop star Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Chief’s tight-end Travis Kelce.
