Despite the accusations of controlling the ebb of his opponent’s range, Jake Paul has been a good thing for pro boxing. The lifelong cruiserweight is even going up a division and challenging consensus HW icon Mike Tyson next. Many are worried that Tyson’s regressing health would be a clear handicap. However, student Francis Ngannou thinks Tyson will win. ‘Predator’ recently had a sitdown with Paul on his ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’ Podcast. He gave Paul some hard-hitting truths about a few of his callouts.

One particular hard-hitting truth walks the walk by the name of Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira. Whilst Pereira preps for a next LHW defense for UFC 307, it hasn’t stopped his roll. Appearing for his third pay-per-view headliner in the same calendar, he’s also planning his next big-money move and has the go-ahead to venture into boxing from many industry standouts. Francis Ngannou says this would be a tough fight.

He [Alex] is tough dude, he has some tough hands. I think you're gonna get some tough nights [against him]. He's a big-size guy... this guy is big, solid! ...And he's mean. He walks straight to you like 'I'm gonna eat this guy'.

‘Problem Child’ recently washed out Mike Perry in an eight-round cruiserweight battle for DAZN pay-per-view. Soon after, he face-timed Pereira after calling him out. The Brazilian has hinted that despite him looming large at LHW/heavyweight limits, he is flexible enough to make weight. Pereira’s tending to sub in and even saying he has work left at 185 pounds has earned the appreciation from UFC CEO Dana White. So it’s not far off that he answers this callout.

Jake Paul hydrates around the 200-pound scale. So fighting him keeps the heavyweight aspirations alive for a fighter already at 37 years old. Meanwhile, the Ohio boxer gets a taste of facing stone hands for a change of pace in his MMA opponent lineup. While highly unlikely, Ngannou warns him of the consequences. More to it, the Cameroonian tells a grim tale about Paul vs. Tyson as well.

Francis Ngannou warns Jake Paul about Mike Tyson

Paul meets Mike Tyson next in a pro-sanction heavyweight bout in less than three months. It is to be contested across eight two-minute rounds at AT&T Stadium, for which, he subsequently has engaged in some charged-up banter. ‘Iron’ coached Francis Ngannou last year for the Riyadh Season opening ceremony when the latter made his boxing debut against the world’s lineal WBC HW champion.

Francis Ngannou has again and again provided that his teacher wins this square-off. But this is the first time he’s getting together with Paul. Jake Paul recently regulated the event hub for PFL’s ‘Battle of the Giants’ upcoming pay-per-view kickoff presser with Ngannou present. Later, along with the towering Renan Ferreira, he said he barely noticed the smaller Paul. Now he doubles down and warns Paul off.

"I think Mike will beat him. I'm not betting against him, but um, like bro let's be real."
Francis Ngannou further said on ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’ Podcast – EP. 57

During the PFL ‘Battle of the Giants’ Media Day, the ex-UFC heavyweight said that Tyson still has a blink-of-an-eye dashing speed, despite his age and ulcer flare-up. Nothing highlights the age difference between him and a 31-year younger Jake Paul. However, like many others, Ngannou theorizes that a semi-functioning Tyson (50-6, 44 career KOs) is still enough amount of Tyson. While he isn’t betting against Paul, he chooses ‘Iron’ to win.
