“Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder”- Francis Ngannou names two possible opponents if his negotiation with UFC falls out

Francis Ngannou wants Fury or Wilder

Francis Ngannou is one of the scariest strikers to ever step inside the octagon, his punch is equivalent to getting hit by a car at full speed. Many have fallen victim to his power, and the UFC heavyweight champion is all set to test his skills against the interim heavyweight champion, Ciryl Gane at the main event of UFC 270.

He is having a tough time re-negotiating his contract with the UFC, and he wants to explore some new horizons as well, he’s called out heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury on several occasions, and he has mentioned it one more time in his recent interview with TMZ.

Ngannou said, “Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder. I would like to test myself to that level. It’s not the same sport, although I’m the champion, I’m in the top in this division. At the end of the day, it’s just about like trained hands, trained punches, having a good delivery system to produce bombs and I’m sure that if I deliver my own punch, it’s pretty good, I can make some damage.”

People accuse Dana of underpaying his fighters, but it’s pretty evident that many athletes made a fortune for themselves while working with the UFC, Dana pointed this out as well, he said,  “I say it all the time: this sport’s fun for me. I love doing this. And contrary to the narrative out there, we’ve made a lot of people very wealthy. And if you don’t wanna be here, if this is not where you wanna be, well, that’s not fun for you and it’s definitely not fun for me, either.”

“Francis and I had a good conversation. I think Francis has been misguided, too, by some people that aren’t very bright. That doesn’t help, either, when you got some people behind you that have no f—ng clue what they’re talking about. It doesn’t help your situation,” Dana concluded.
