Frank Lampard speaks on Chelsea’s chances of winning the Premier League

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has spoken about his side being title favourites this season. The Blues slumped off to a 1-0 loss against Carlo Ancelotti’s men at Goodison park on Saturday.
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal of the match via the penalty spot after Eduoard Mendy made a mistake. They had a chance of going to the top of the league but are now stuck at 3rd.

Chelsea’s forward line presented a lacklustre performance which is quite contrary to what we’ve seen up until this point of the time. Olivier Giroud hardly was able to make any impact despite being in the rich vein of form he has.
Kai Havertz was’nt at his very best either having started off at right wing. The only player who looked to make any impact whatsoever was Reece James who looked threatening with his attacking play.
Frank Lampard has dismissed all talks of his side being title favourites. He says they are still a young side and quite inexperienced as well.

Some people who are saying ‘we’re going to win the league, we’ve got the best squad in the league’, it’s ridiculous stuff,” said Lampard.
When you talk about the best squads, you have to look at the teams that have won it in the last two, three or four years. Their squads are full of strikers and wingers that score 30 or 40 goals a season, midfield players that have won multiple league titles all over the place. “We have some but we have young players and as a squad we’re not there.
