Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman had a historic performance in the 2024 World Series. His four home runs in four successive games saw him earn the crown of the series MVP. The first baseman recently revealed a shocking career back-up option if he failed to make the cut in baseball.
He recently appeared on the “New Heights” podcast alongside Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce. During the podcast, the 35-year-old was asked by the latter what other sport he would have played if baseball did not work out for him. His answer left the brothers stunned.
Freddie Freeman claimed that he would not have played any sport if he failed at baseball. The 8-time MLB All-Star stated that he wanted to be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and do taxes. After Jason Kelce called him out that nobody wants to do CPA, Freeman revealed that his father and his uncle own a CPA Firm named Freeman & Freeman CPAs.

The elder Kelce brother would later ask Freeman if he does his own taxes now. The Dodgers star shook his head in no and hilariously admitted that the ship had sailed a long time and he had given up on the dream of becoming a CPA.
Freddie Freeman was left confused during Mookie Betts’ fan interference moment in World Series Game 4
The 2024 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees created some great baseball moments. However, the series also saw an absurd moment during Game 4. A couple of Yankee fans grabbed the glove of Mookie Betts in a shocking moment. Freddie Freeman revealed that he was left confused for a moment when that happened.
Freeman was at the first base when the event took place. Betts would race toward the right field wall in the foul territory and make a spectacular play. During this, a fan would grab the glove of Betts and yanked the ball out from it. Meanwhile, another fan grabbed the free hand of Betts.
Freeman would reflect on this during his conversation with Travis and Jason Kelce and claimed he had no idea what had just happened.

Freeman later revealed that Betts wanted to fight the fans. This was something even Betts admitted when asked about his comments. The Dodgers’ shortstop told his wife that this was just the second time in his life that he wanted to fight someone.
The fans were later escorted out of the building and reportedly spent the night at a club. Despite this, the duo seemed pleased with their efforts. In an interview, the duo admitted that they always “joked” about doing something like this if the ball came near them. The duo was later banned from Game 5 and their tickets were given to a pediatric cancer patient and his family.
