Freddie Freeman has found his name trending on social media following the World Series. During the title celebration, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ star broke out some incredible dance moves, which left users on social media stunned.

On Monday, the Dodgers celebrated their 2025 World Series win with the fans at Dodger Stadium. The National League side came back from 3-0 down in Game 7 and broke the Toronto Blue Jays’ hearts following a 5-4 win after 11 innings.

Their triumph saw them achieve something that had not been done in 25 years. The Dodgers became the first team after the New York Yankees in 2000 to repeat as World Series champions, having defeated the Yankees in the 2024 Fall Classic.

Freeman, who was the MVP of that World Series, was part of a private post-parade celebration on Tuesday. In a video that has gone viral on social media, the 36-year-old would show off his dancing skills.

In the video originally shared on Mookie Betts‘ TikTok account, Freeman would slowly make his way across the dance floor with his hands behind his back. After taking a few steps and tossing his phone away, he would get into action and perform “The Worm” dance move.

The 6-foot-5 superstar would pull off the move with ease and perfect rhythm. Check it out below:

Freeman was the star of the show in Game 3 of the World Series. He ended an 18-inning marathon with a solo home run off Brendon Little on a 3-2 count.

This tied the record for the longest World Series game (inning-wise) with Game 3 of the 2018 World Series. The Dodgers were part of that, too, and won through a solo walk-off home run from Max Muncy that day against the Boston Red Sox.

Freeman scripted history with that walk-off home run. He became the first player in MLB history to have multiple walk-off home runs in the Fall Classic.

Check out that and some other reactions from X below:

This year, Freeman batted with a .221 average in the postseason. In the 17 games, the 9-time MLB All-Star went 15-for-68 while having 2 home runs and 3 RBIs.

After spending 12 seasons and winning the World Series with the Atlanta Braves in 2021, Freeman would sign with the Dodgers. He signed a 6-year, $162 million deal with the LA-based side after becoming a free agent following the conclusion of the 2021 season.

Since his move to California, he has added two more championship rings to his collection. He is now aiming for a third straight title with the Dodgers.

Ever since I got here, we started winning, and there is nothing better than hoisting these trophies for you guys (fans). Over 4 million of you came to watch us play this year and we delivered. Job in 2024 – done, job in 2025 – done, job in 2026 – starts now.

Freddie Freeman told the fans during the title celebration parade

Only 4 times in MLB history has a team three-peated the World Series. The New York Yankees have done it 3 times (4-peat from 1936 to 1939), (5-peat from 1949 to 1953) and (3-peat from 1998 to 2000). The only other team to have won 3 straight World Series titles apart from the Yankees is the Athletics, who won from 1972 to 1974. The Dodgers are now hoping to join this exclusive club next year.
