Free Fire is a battle royale game developed by Garena Games. The game’s popularity has soared since its release in 2017. Free Fire is a massively popular game due to its competitive nature and tournaments that allow lesser-known players to rise to the top. We take a look at the Jio Free Fire Gaming Masters tournament.

Free Fire esports has been gaining steam very rapidly. The recently concluded Free Fire Continental Series Asia (FFCS Asia), peaked at around 2.5 million viewers with more than 8 lakh average viewers. Meanwhile, the Hindi stream peaked at 1.5 million viewers.

Meanwhile, in recent news, Mediatek, a leading chipset manufacturer, has collaborated with the Indian telecom giant, Jio. Together they have announced the Free Fire tournament called, Free Fire Gaming Masters.

His tournament will start from 13th January 2021 and last until March 1st, 2021. The tournament features a massive prize pool of 12.5 lakh INR. Moreover this tournament will be played in duo or solo mode in TPP formats only.

The tournament features three stages:

  1. Duos                                                                        
  2. Solos
  3. Grand Finale

The finals are supposed to be held on March 2nd, 2021. Likewise the matches will be held on Bermuda, Kalahari and Purgatory.

Registration Details

The tournament registration process started on 29th December 2020. However the registration process closes on January 9th, 2021. Players can participate for free. Moreover players can follow these steps to register:
