Free Fire x Venom 2 collaboration: Release date, rewards, and more revealed

Garena has unveiled its first-ever movie franchise cross over for Free Fire with the upcoming Sony Pictures film named Venom: Let there be Carnage – Free Fire x Venom 2 Collaboration. The cross will kick off in mid-October and we can expect several Venom-themed cosmetics in the game.
Free Fire is an ultimate Battle royale game published by Garena in December 2017. The game had a bunch of epic cross-overs with popular franchises, personalities and companies. It had collaborated with famous figures like DJ Alok, KSHMR, Chrono, Dimitri Vegas and Likemike, Cristiano Ronaldo, Money Heist, One Punch Man, Attack on Titan, McLaren and many more. As many players have seen that these crossovers have resulted in various themed cosmetics which excited players.
Now the developers are coming up with their first-ever cross over with a movie franchise and the film is te 2nd instalment in the Sony’s Spider Man Unvierse, i.e., Venom 2 (venom: Let there be Carnage). Let us look at more detail regarding this partnership.
Free Fire x Venom 2 collaboration
Earlier this month, the officials has teased the Free Fire collaboration with Venom: Let there be Carnage via a social media post. The post read:
"Free Fire’s one-of-a-kind collaboration with @VenomMovie is coming soon!"
However, they didn’t revealed much information regarding the event. Today, Garena unveiled a press release providing more insights of their upcoming collaboration.
Free Fire collaboration with Venom will bring Embrace the Chaos event to the game along with several Venom-themed items, playable content, and collectibles. More information will be shared by the developers in the coming weeks.

Free Fire X Venom: Let there be Carnage Cross-over release date
The collaboration is set to commence in the game from October 16, 2021 which arrives in the game just in time for the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which releases on October 15 in the Indian theatres. The movie is stirring with om Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Woody Harrelson. Following are the rewards that were leaked by data miners. Howerver these rewards are not official, and hence, players should consider these leaks with a grain of salt.
Bart FF, a popular data miner, leaked some of the rewards along with the collaboration details and its release date on his Instagram handle. Here are the rewards that are going to be added, according to Bart FF:
- Venom helmet
- Time of Carnage: We are Venom
- Time of Carnage Booty
- Bike – Time of Carnage
- Time of Carnage Set
- Blue Venom Token
- Red Venom Token
- Hybrid Venom Token
- Carnage Time Backpack
Anpother well-known data miner, who goes by the name RMD revealed the following items:
Harold Teo, Producer at Garena, expressed the gratitude over the collaboration with the following statements:

The iconic character reflects a key component of Free Fire gameplay – creating chaos and eliminating enemies to survive – and is part of our commitment to offer memorable experiences for our global community.”
