The 3rd-seeded Dominic Thiem will take on the unseeded and former U.S Open champion Marin Čilić in the first round of French Open 2020. Thiem, coming off his maiden grand slam title is being heavily endorsed as one of the favourites to have a deep run at Roland Garros. Marin Čilić, on the other hand, is a former World No.3 who seems to have lost his edge in the recent past.
