Rafael Nadal breezed past his childhood fan, Sebastian Korda dropping just 4 games in the match. Korda, a 20-year-old American had stated before the match that the Spaniard was the reason why he started playing tennis and he admires him a lot, even naming his cat after him.

However, Korda could not match up to his idol in the 4th round. To Korda’s credit, he did manage to break Rafael Nadal in the 3rd set which was the first time the Spaniard was broken after his first-round match.

Nadal converted 8 out of his 11 break point opportunities against Korda and won an impressive 75% of his points on 2nd serve. The Spaniard is still to drop a set at the French Open this year and looks all set to keep marching ahead to claim his 13th French Open title.
