It is hard to see your loved ones lose what they worked towards their entire life, especially when that person is your spouse. Super Bowl LVIII was a closely fought out battle between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, two teams that have become big rivals in recent years. Both teams are loaded with talent and it came as no surprise that they managed to force the game into overtime.

On the latest episode of the Netflix Series Receiver, which covers the detailed lives of Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Justin Jefferson, and Davante Adams, fans got a sneak peek into the reaction of Claire Kittle, the wife of tight end George Kittle. As time wound down and the game came to the final drive, Claire could not help but sit and pray that the San Francisco 49ers get another opportunity to go on offense.

However, Patrick Mahomes had other intentions, he threw the game-winning touchdown to Mecole Hardman to secure his third Super Bowl victory. As soon as he completed the pass, Claire Kittle could not bear to sit and watch the game any further.

I'm leaving, I'm not watching this. Alright, I gotta go, I'm not sitting watching this s***, I'm walking...

Claire was mic’d up saying these words as she got up and walked off. Her reaction may have come off as salty to some but she had every right to feel that way.

Claire Kittle was heartbroken at the sight of watching her husband lose yet another Super Bowl to the Chiefs

It was not easy for her to see George Kittle walk on the sidelines with his head held down and visibly disappointed after the 25-22 loss in overtime. The five-time Pro Bowler could not contribute much to his team as he ended the game with 2 receptions for 4 yards as Kansas City’s defense had devised the perfect strategy to keep him at bay.

Despite the best efforts of Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Jauan Jennings, and the other stars on a loaded 49ers offense, the Chiefs had their number yet again. What makes it more painful for the tight end and his wife is that despite his best efforts, their rivals outplayed them on the biggest football stage for the second time.

George and Claire Kittle have been married for five years. They met in 2012 at the University of Iowa during their freshmen year. The duo got to know each other as friends for eight months before dating later on. From that point forward, there has been no turning back for them! Claire understands the pain of losing as an athlete, she played basketball during high school and was great at it. She was a McDonald’s All-American nominee but was forced to walk away from the game owing to a knee injury that she sustained in her senior year of college.
