The level of criticism Jerry Jones endured for the inactive offseason is known to everyone but when it continued in the regular season repeatedly over the Dallas Cowboys’ lackluster performances, he appears to have gotten frustrated. That’s why, when he was asked the same questions concerning his offseason moves in his weekly appearance on a radio talk show, he lost his temper.

In his appearance on 105.3 The Fan, following the bizarre 47-9 loss against the Detroit Lions, Jones expressed his frustration with the team’s lack of efforts which resulted in their 3-3 season standings. Midway into the session, things escalated when radio hosts Shan & RJ blamed the offseason inactiveness for the team’s failure.

This is not your job.I’ll get somebody else to ask these questions. I’m not kidding. You’re not going to figure out what the team is doing right or wrong. If you are, or any five or 10 like you, you need to come to this (NFL) meeting I’m going to today with 32 teams here, you’re geniuses.

Jerry Jones asserted

The loss seems to have made the Pro Football Hall of Famer extremely frustrated with both his team and the media blaming him. He previously snapped at a reporter for repetitively asking him about firing head coach Mike McCarthy and asserted that he is not considering it.

While questioning his hosts’ authority to question him about the mistakes he made previously, the Cowboys owner admitted that he was “sick” of seeing his team fail like they did on Sunday. He also revealed during his Radio interview that everyone considers his decision to buy the Cowboys franchise “one of the stupidest things” of his life.

One of the stupidest things I’ve ever done, that anybody had ever analyzed was buy the Cowboys. It was an idiot that did that. So idiot things can turn into good decisions. Smart things can turn into bad decisions. The facts are when you make one, you don’t really know if it’s going to be good or not at the time. You want some conversation this morning, you’re getting it.

Jerry Jones added

The night the Cowboys suffered their fourth consecutive home game was also the night Jones turned 82 and the least he expected was a win. But the displeasure on his face was quite evident as he was sitting in his suite at AT&T Stadium.
