Olympic gold medalist, Gable Steveson was finally released from WWE after having no concrete direction for his run. When WWE signed him, it was considered one of the best decisions they made. However, things didn’t work out as planned.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the 23-year-old star has been released from the company. Many fans predicted the outcome, given that WWE removed him from the NXT roster a few days ago. He wrestled only one televised match in his WWE career.

Gable Steveson wrestled against Baron Corbin at the NXT Great American Bash in 2022. However, the Olympic gold medalist would want to forget that match because of the heavy criticism he received. It is regarded as one of the worst matches by the fans. Steveson was heavily booed due to the controversy he was involved in.

On June 15, 2019, the official arrested him and his Minnesota teammate on suspicion of s*xual misconduct. Although there were no criminal charges against him, the horrific allegations against the Olympic gold medalist might have damaged his reputation forever. Only time will tell what the future holds for Gable Steveson.
