Before welcoming the San Francisco 49ers to the Allegiant Stadium for the final pre-season game, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew met with Donald Trump. He wasn’t alone.

On Friday, Trump was in Nevada for a campaign event, where he touted his “no tax on tips” policy. Minshew, along with a couple of his Raiders teammates, visited him before the former USA president embarked on his duties.

Daily Caller got hold of a few clicks from the visit, which included star edge rusher Maxx Crosby and wide receiver Alex Bachman besides Minshew. All three lined up and took a group photograph with the Republican Party head.

Crosby meeting with Donald Trump is nothing out of the ordinary. Following the 78-year-old’s assassination attempt earlier this year, Crosby shared a message on X showing his support for Trump.

Minshew, who hails from Pennsylvania, and Bachman are the two surprises that fans usually didn’t expect to see tagging along with Crosby. The Pro Bowler recently switched Indy for Vegas and was named the starter for the Raiders by head coach Antonio Pierce.

Bachman, a former New York Giants player, joined the Raiders for more game time. However, he will most likely be coming off the bench in most games. He is behind star receivers Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, and Tre Tucker.

Gardner Minshew wants to win games with the Las Vegas Raiders

Since entering the NFL in the sixth round for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minshew has shown flashes of his skillset and capabilities. His 2023 campaign with the Indianapolis Colts was the breakout season he needed, and eventually, he secured a move to the Raiders, where he will now play as the #1 quarterback.

He won over the Raiders fans with his unique personality on and off the field. His primary goal is to play and have fun.

The first thing is, I want to be able to win. I feel like we have the tools here; we have the pieces here. To be a part of a winning culture with guys who are like-minded and who want to win is all I can really ask for.
Gardner Minshew said per the official Raiders website

The 28-year-old is a perfect fit for the Raiders, who have been looking for a quarterback that can match their level of passion.

I love the s**t talking. That's all stuff that I think is really fun and I'm excited to get going here.
