Free Fire has many tournaments that are held throughout the world. We will discuss about one such tournament Free Fire South Asia Showdown.

Likewise, Garena Free Fire has currently announced the Free Fire South Asia Showdown: Battle of the Stars. This is Free Fire’s first-ever esports tournament for South Asia. The tournament is scheduled to be started on 6th February 2021 and will feature many famous teams.

Likewise, the regions to be seen in this tournament are India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. This tournament is a benchmark in the spread of the game in the South Asian communities.

Free Fire South Asia Showdown: Battle of the Stars

Format

The tournament features a total of 12 participating teams. Likewise each teams will be led by one pf the top 3 streamers from each of the participating regions. This choice will be decided by public voting and the best will take the lead for their team.

The teams will compete in a Battle Royale Squad mode for a huge prize pool of 1 million diamonds. The first place will receive a reward of 500,000 diamonds. Meanwhile the second and third teams to win will receive 300,000 and 200,000 diamonds respectively.

The broadcast for the tournament will be held on the Free Fire Esports India YouTube channel and Facebook. Moreover it will also be broadcast on Free Fire Bangladesh Official YouTube and Facebook and also on BOOYAH!.

The matches will be streamed in 5 different languages. These are namely English, Hindi, Nepali and Urdu.
