Garena Free Fire: The New Beginning, New updates of OB25 and All you need to know about it

The Free Fire OB25 Update and patch notes have rolled out in the game with a new name “The New Beginning”. This is a huge update by the developers of the game. There was a server shutdown all over and this was to push the Server update of the game from OB24 to OB25. The game has brought come up with a big collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo bringing all players to the excitement. We will discuss the new updates of OB25.

The collaboration was kept as a secret building curiosity in players to the core. There was an event Rise of Operation Chrono related to the collaboration.

Clash Squad Rank Season 4 will be soon seen in the game the new season will start from 8th December 2020 at 2:30 PM IST.

If you rank up to Gold III or above in Clash Squad Season 4 then you can receive a Squad Exclusive Item that is the Golden P90.

This time in the OB25 Update the developers are coming up with more changes with matchmaking. You will be matched with players of your own ranks to keep it balanced. To make the event more fun and competitive for the players. Premade teams will be matched against each player.

Some Major updates of Clash Squad Mode are:

• Clash Squad Store Adjustments
• Reduced Rank Shield for Premade squads
• players will receive extra rank shields upon ranking
• Premade squads will now be prioritized to match against other premade squads. 

Weapons Updates in OB25 patch Notes are:

Vector-Akimbo:

Vector Akimbo is a new SMG weapon it will also be available in Classic and Clash squad. It is the first Akimbo weapon in Free Fire, it is a short-range gun but deals a lot of damage.

Stats of Vector- Akimbo:

• Damage: 22
• Magazine: 30
• Rate of Fire: 0.08
• Attachments: Muzzle, Stock
• “Akimbo” – Players can hold one Vector in each hand. 

M82B:

The Drop rate of M82B was very high on the map. So, in the new OB25 update the Drop rate will be reducing. So players will have to put in a little more effort to search for the Gun or Firearm.

The drop rate will be reducing in all maps

M4A1:

M4A1 is said to have a bad recoil rate and is underperforming. So the developers have decided to give it a more power in range and recoil. So, players will find it more stable in game to use.

• Damage: 28->29
• Rate of Fire: +5%
• Effective Range: +12.5%
• Max Recoil:-14%

P90:

Even after Buffing P90 Gun in the before update of OB25 the performance was underwhelming. So, there will be more power given to the gun. With these changes players will get a extra feel of the firearm.

• Damage: 23->24
• Recoil: -11%

Advanced Weapons:

Even after the advanced attachments, the guns perform decently and sometimes bad. So, the developers have taken the initiative to check through all the guns in the game closely. So, they have decided to replace advanced attachments with advanced weapons. Players can get the complete feel and next level of power in these guns.

More OB25 updates in Gamemode:

Training Grounds:

They will be adding a new currency in-game that is called Bermuda Shells in training grounds. So players can participate actively in minigames. Also, you can exchange them for fireworks in-game.

• New Currency – Bermuda Shells.
• New in-game item: Firework.
• Music Arcade is now available inside the training grounds.
• Dynamic Lighting – The lighting of the Training Grounds will adjust based on real-time lighting.
• Gameplay- Electric Surfboard:
• Speed and mechanism are currently a bit too mobile for players and opponents to counterplay.
• So the speed of this surfboard will now be reduced. Closing the gap power, players will no longer see players fly around the map.  

Fire Pass:

A new interface will be added in game where you can get immediate updates on season rewards for battle Royale and clash squads.

Free Fire Partners:

Free Fire Partners can now be seen in-game with special badges given to them as shown below. Players can now identify Free Fire partners in-game show off with their emotes in front of them.

Some Bug Fixes and Optimizations in OB25 Updates:

Optimized Kill camera for battle Royale Pass mode, players can control their motion when airborne. Players can refollow Jumpmastar while parachuting. Secondary weapons will now show display on players’ model.
