Gareth Bale is enjoying his football again, says Wales caretaker Robert Page

Gareth Bale sealed a transfer to Tottenham before the transfer deadline from Real Madrid. He joins on a season long loan and will hope to get a larger amount of game time and favoured position before the expiry of the loan. Now Bale has to find a way to maintain his fitness and repay his manager’s belief.
Necessary transfer
Bale’s return to Tottenham was much needed by him. Originally his decision was to run out his contract with Real Madrid and earn his massive wages (€540,000) week in and week out. However he was surrounded in a negative atmosphere with little to no playtime. Bale’s antics to piss of Real Madrid fans and Zinedine Zidane didn’t help too.
However now he has made a sensible decision to leave a toxic place and go back to a place where people will welcome him with open hands. Jose Mourinho respects him and cares for him and he has showed that by easing Bale into the team. Wales caretaker Robert Page didn’t let that go unappreciated and praised Mourinho for taking extra care of Bale. He has promised that he’ll take care of Bale on his side and ensure that he isn’t overworked.
He also said that Bale looks more positive and refreshed than he has been in recent time. He has observed that Bale is in love with the game again and shows that in training. It is just a matter of time before he shows it on the field too.
Therefore it means only one thing, welcome back Gareth Bale!
