The New York Jets have had an underwhelming season so far. With just 4 wins and 10 losses, they are far from the playoffs. The best thing would be for them to embrace the tank and position themselves well for the draft, but the team is still not giving up on winning the games in the rest of its schedule.

Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 32-25 on Sunday. However, there were four occasions wherein the Jets were trailing with the Jags.

One of these instances came in the third quarter when the team was in a third-and-down situation, but the veteran QB wound up getting sacked at the Jaguars 25-yard line because he took too much time to throw.

Right after this play, wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who had gotten off to a good start on Sunday after catching a 22-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers, could not keep his frustration to himself. He was heated on the sidelines.

“If it’s one-on-one, throw the fade,” an infuriated Wilson could be seen mouthing to the team’s coaching staff. Aaron Rodgers could be seen sitting on the sidelines with a dejected look on his face.

The New York Jets won off a clutch touchdown from Breece Hall

The wideout ended his night with 56 yards and 1 touchdown. However, the true star of the night was Davante Adams, who reached a significant milestone in his career. He caught the 100th touchdown of his career from none other than Aaron Rodgers. He and Rodgers turned back the clock as they gave fans a vintage performance with the receiver ending his night with 9 receptions on 198 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Despite solid outings from Adams and Wilson’s contribution, the game came down to the wire. Fortunately, Breece Hall was able to save the night for the Jets with his 1-yard touchdown at the end of the game. Despite the win, the outburst by Wilson is yet another indication of tension between him and Rodgers.

There have been reports of the duo having had a heated disagreement at practice earlier this year. Garrett Wilson’s response last week when asked about Rodgers leaving the team after this season was that it would have “no impact” on him.

Furthermore, a report from ESPN’s Rich Cimini said that the wideout was “frustrated” with the team’s “dysfunction on offense” this year under Rodgers. The duo has not always been on the same page this year and that shows.
