“They’re a bunch of whinge bags” Gary Neville slams Ronaldo and Bruno as “Whingers”
Manchester United recently won the game against Burnley at Old Trafford to end the year on high. However, the two games before that had given them a blow below the belt as the team found it difficult to win the game convincingly. The Red Devils scraped past Norwich City through a 1-0 win whereas against Newcastle United, Manchester United scraped a draw with the help of Edinson Cavani’s strike in the second half.
Following the match, the social media took the players to task. Joining the bandwagon, the pundits on several TV platforms also slammed the Manchester United players. One of Manchester United’s own, Gary Neville was not happy with Ronaldo and Bruno’s performance and termed them whingers.
Gary Neville slams Ronaldo and Bruno – They’re a bunch of whinge bags
Talking to Sky Sports, Gary Neville said:
They’ve not done one single thing right as a team and not one player can go in at half-time and say they’ve done their job or even done themselves justice. They’re whinging at each other, they’re a bunch of whinge bags. Their arms are up in the air, they’re complaining about everything.
The former right-back of Manchester United was also apprehensive about the players’ attitude. He also mentioned that these players can get a lot of managers sacked because of their attitude and poor performances.
They got the last manager the sack Ralf Rangnick is not going to get the sack, but they’ll get a lot of managers the sack if they perform like that
Against Newcastle United, Manchester Untied players dropped a stinker. The team had lost the possession a record 167 times with Bruno Fernandes leading the charts for the team. The Portuguese midfielder lost the possession 26 times and Marcus Rashford followed him with 20. Jadon Sancho (14), Scott McTominay (13), Alex Telles (12), Harry Maguire (11), Raphael Varane (11) and Fred (10) were the other players who had lost the possession more than ten times in that game.
Going to the New Year, the Red Devils find themselves in the sixth place with 31 points and two games in hand. However, they face a stiff competition from Arsenal, West Ham Untied and Tottenham Hotspur for the fourth place in the Premier League.
