Now, the 20-time Grand Slam winner has another wish coming from golfing legend Gary Player. The former golfer passed on his wishes through a personalized video message to Nadal.

Nadal being compared with late Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros
“Congratulations on being Sportsman of El Mundo (the world). You are a real toro (fighter), you never give up, said the golfing great.” He even compared Nadal to the late Spanish golfing stalwart, Seve Ballesteros, who passed 10 years ago.
“I like to think that Seve and I were like you in golf and you and Seve have been two of the greatest ambassadors of sports around the world and also Spain,” added Player.
The 34-year-old was stunned by Alexander Zverev last week in the quarterfinal of the Madrid Masters and is now in the Italian capital.
