Top American actor and model Zendaya continues to make headlines in the tennis world. Thanks to her new movie ‘Challengers’, which revolves around tennis. Due to this, the Spider-Man star was spotted in many tennis matches to promote her movie.
Not only did the actors watch the matches, but they also met up with the players afterward and had a small chat with them. First, it was Iga Swiatek, who was dazzled by Zendaya’s presence. Now, the American continues to promote her movie, which recently made it to cinemas.
Lately, she also caught up with another tennis sensation, Eugenie Bouchard, at the movie premiere. Both of them took a couple of pictures, which Genie posted on her Instagram. She titled the post “Tennis Girlies,” as she seemingly enjoyed the time with Zendaya.
However, while the post was expected to get some good comments, it ended up on the negative side. Bouchard got bashed by the fans for calling herself a tennis girly. The Canadian hasn’t played a match since the 2023 US Open, as she shifted her focus more to pickleball.

This was not the case for Eugenie Bouchard, who loved the sport when she even made her professional debut. Having still not started her 2024 season in tennis, she made her way into pickleball. The fans were enraged by this decision, and the Canadian is often criticized for this choice.
Genie lost her debut match but later revealed that she loved the sport and was very excited to challenge herself to the new pickle challenge.
