The new Genshin Impact 1.6 Update has revealed a lot of new characters, and while some leaks show characters while they are still in their early stages, these revelations always create an enormous amount of hype in the community. Data Miners and leak providers have found as much information as possible about Genshin Impact 1.6 Update concerning new characters, gameplay, and voice lines, giving us a possible view of what these characters look like and a subtle idea about the overall upcoming game.

Genshin Impact 1.6 Update
Genshin Impact 1.6 update will officially release on June 9, bringing with it new summer outfits and an Archon quest. The game gets a major update every six weeks, and these updates add a wide range of new content, ranging from characters, weapons, quests, and much more. The last update added two new characters, Eula and Yanfei, and the housing system.
It was leaked a while ago that 1.6 will see the devs adding Kazuha to the game. Finally, a Genshin Impact 1.6 Update has appeared, showcasing Kazuha’s gameplay along with his vocal lines. From the trailer, we can see Kazuha is a Sword Anemo character, much like the main character in its Anemo avatar. His elemental skill and elemental burst can not only deal Anemo damage and effectively control enemies, but also deal additional elemental damage if they come into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro.

"A wandering samurai from Inazuma who is currently with Liyue’s Crux Fleet. A gentle and carefree soul whose heart hides a great many burdens."
Kazuha is a wandering swordsman from the Inazuma region who carries secrets buried deep within his heart, but those secrets remain a mystery for the time being. Kazuha also provides buffs to the team, making him a unique character for the team. Kazuha can grant his teammates an elemental damage bonus for their corresponding element upon triggering a Swirl reaction. One of his other Passive Talents can decrease sprinting stamina consumption for his own party members.
Genshin Impact 1.6 Update will also bring with it the new boss called Maguu Kenki, who complements the new character as it would be dropping character ascension materials for Kazuha. He can summon phantoms, dealing both Anemo and Cryo damage, and can only be taken down while in close-range combat. Maguu Kenki also makes an appearance in the Legend of the Vagabond Sword event in its Anemo and Cryo avatars.
Furthermore, it seems evident that Ayaka will finally be playable, so collect more free primogems through redeem codes in game. And lastly, it is expected that Freedom-Sworn will make its appearance as Kazuha’s Sword of choice on release. +10% DMG, gains stacks on Elemental Reactions. Consumes 2 stacks to give party 16% Normal/Charge/Plunge Attack DMG and 20% Attack for 12s.
Jean and Barbara will be getting skins, as Genshin Impact 1.6 Update will introduce skins in the game as well. There are some teasers regarding the inclusion of mini-games and some concept arts teasers. Since most of the 1.5 leaks came out to be genuinely implemented, hence players might as well consider this true.
With the new beta test for 1.7 coming in as well, we can expect more in the game. The new update is rumored to bring in a new map as well, so let’s cross our fingers for the 9th of June.
