Wherever George Kittle goes, fans get to witness his electrifying personality. Whether it’s on the football field or off it, the San Francisco 49ers tight end never fails to entertain.

On Sunday, April 28, Kittle was at Bridgestone Arena to watch an NHL game between the Nashville Predators and the Vancouver Canucks. Accompanied by his wife Claire, Kittle went through several emotions while mic’d up for the occasion.

Bleacher Report shared a 1.16-minute video documenting Kittle’s every movement.

He was clearly there to support the Predators with the bright yellow jacket with ‘Samashville’ embroidered on it and shouted, “Let’s f**king go, Predators.” As the game trodded along, he got more into it. Not only that, he did not shy away from engaging with the surrounding people.

At one point, he could be heard talking about a funny story of a Raiders fan and even joked that he tried to influence the referee before the game to not award any penalties. Well, it wasn’t working.

My favorite is when a Raiders fan is like, dude, I hate you. I'm like, your team left you. That's one of my favorite comebacks--I literally told the refs, free game, no penalties.

Shortly after, a young fan mustered the courage and walked up to him. He said that George Kittle was, “the best tight end in the NFL.”

Then came the best moment of the clip. Right at the end, Kittle picked up a pint of beer and gulped it down in one go as fans cheered all around him.

The 49ers are thinking about life after George Kittle

Kittle’s passion for football is famous. He is entering the 8th year of his NFL career after being drafted in 2017. While he played 16 games last season, Kittle has been plagued by injuries in the past, and he has already touched 30.

The 49ers have a long shot to add depth in a tight end spot to cover Kittle, which many hoped they would address in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, general manager John Lynch opted to strengthen the offensive line and the receiver core amid rumors about the departure of either Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk.

Kittle played a total of 853 snaps in 2023, ahead of Charlie Woerner, who only had 312 before leaving for Atlanta. Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area shared that the 49ers should start preparing for life after George Kittle.

They got to start making some plans, perhaps for life after George Kittle. I know that's kind of odd to say because it seems like he's just so young and, [not too long ago], broke into the NFL. But he is [already] 30

Last month, the 49ers tried to bring in tight end Brock Wright from Detroit. However, the Lions matched his demand for a three-year, $12 million deal. They also have Cameron Latu and Brayden Willis in the practice squad, with Latu spending most of 2023 on the injury bed.
