Gerard Pique urges Man United to make a decision on the Erik ten Hag ‘situation’
If the FA Cup final against Manchester City proves to be Erik ten Hag‘s final game in charge of Manchester United, the Dutchman is going out with a bang. Prior to the final, reports had come out that the club management had decided to get rid of the manager irrespective of the result.
United ended up winning the game 2-1 to surprise everyone including club management INEOS. Despite it being more than six days after the final, Ten Hag still remains Man United manager. INEOS are yet to make a decision on Ten Hag’s situation.
Speaking on the same, Gerard Pique shared his take on Man United’s managerial situation. Despite the FA Cup triumph, the Red Devils finished at an all-time low of 8th in the Premier League.
They need to make the decision. It's tough to say because he won the cup. At the same time they're not fighting for the PL, which has to be one of United's objectives.Gerard Pique said in a podcast
United are currently linked with Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna and former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino. Ten Hag boldly claimed that if United don’t want him, he’ll go and win titles elsewhere.
