Gervonta Davis is back in the spotlight after not entering the ring for almost a year now. As such, Tank is now set to fight Frank Martin on June 15 in a massive fight card that will also include David Benavidez vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk. Furthermore, both Davis and Martin have now begun to promote the fight through press conferences and podcasts. Similarly, they appeared together recently in a hilarious interview with the rapper Gillie Da Kid.

The fight between Davis and Martin is quite intriguing since both of them are undefeated boxers. However, since Davis is regarded as one of the faces of boxing, his opponent is being considered the underdog. Subsequently, Martin is quite confident about emerging victorious against Tank and firmly believes in himself. He announced this during the interview on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast, but Davis shut down this notion quickly.

Tank made it clear that the moment Martin attempts to hurt him during the fight, he will turn the tide against him. However, because of his interesting choice of words, Gillie decided to interrupt him and hilariously state, ‘No Diddy’. This was a reference to the alleged homosexual activities that Diddy has been associated with recently.

The joke caught Davis off guard, and he began to smirk even though he was attempting to intimidate Martin before it. After this, Tank and Frank Martin continued their back and forth. Davis also proclaimed that he would hit Martin so hard that everyone on his team would feel it.

Gervonta Davis wants to change the fight’s venue

Las Vegas has been hailed as the home of the biggest fights in boxing ever since the golden era of the sport. As such, the city has hosted some of the greatest moments and has continued to do so. While Ryan Garcia lamented about not being able to fight Devin Haney in Las Vegas, his rival Davis didn’t want to fight there.

Currently, the massive fight card is set to happen at the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. However, Davis expressed his apprehension about this on X through his tweets. As such, Tank stated that he was not interested in it and suggested that another venue would have to be booked for the massive fightcard.

In the cryptic tweet, which he later deleted, Gervonta Davis stated that he wasn’t interested in bringing money there. Furthermore, he spoke about how he doesn’t get the respect he deserves from Vegas. Hence, if the fight’s venue is changed, there is a possibility that it will be Madison Square Garden in New York.
