New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton recently updated on what is going on with the rumors of his elbow pain in a short interview. As per reports, Stanton was dealing with elbow issues last season too but never considered sitting out of the lineup.
Especially in the October games, Stanton was a force to be reckoned with as he led the Yankees to the World Series Championship. Currently, manager Aaron Boone and Stanton himself admitted that he’s dealing with both elbow injury which is likely tennis elbow pain.
The best solution for the team is to slow-play Giancarlo Stanton as the rest undergo rigorous Spring Training camp. Apart from that, he’ll also undergo continuous treatment for a permanent solution although it may take some time.
His treatment includes forearm work, tissue work, and other exercises. Stanton has not touched the bat in three to four weeks and his presence for the Opening Day remains questionable. The Yankees may have to start their season without the outfielder against the Milwaukee Brewers on March 27.
It’s definitely not just soreness. It was a manageable thing [last year]. That’s how last year and this year will go. It’s not a, ‘When did it feel good, when did it feel bad?’ There’s always a pain level there. You got to deal with that. It’s just the wisest point to give time right now.

“Look, tennis elbow or whatever they call it, [there are] tears in your tendon. So [if you ask] when did it feel good, when did it feel bad, there’s always a pain level there. You’ve…
When asked about his pain, Stanton said that there is always a “very high” level of pain and he is just trying to deal with it. Boone also said they’ll go through some maintenance and work it out this year with Staton’s injury.

For the New York Yankees, Giancarlo Stanton is a key player for the season, especially after losing Juan Soto. Thankfully, the Yankees are prepared for a short-term loss of Stanton as they have signed power-hitters like Paul Goldschmidt and Cody Bellinger.

Stanton said it’s just a time thing and much time will be needed for the pain to subside completely. However, the fans are worried for his health. One X user noted, “Not good news!”, while another said, “This guy can never catch a break.” Check more fan reactions below:
