Antetokounmpo recited the famous basketball player’s catchphrase, “The job’s not done!” to channel the unwavering spirit of Kobe Bryant. On December 18, the Bucks will play the Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The game is high-stakes, with players from the victorious team potentially earning over $500,000. The statement made by Antetokounmpo is reminiscent of that of basketball legend Kobe Bryant, who played his whole 20-year NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant had plenty of iconic moments throughout his career.

Kobe Bryant told the media, “What’s there to be happy about? The job’s not finished. Job finished? I don’t think so.” Similar to this, Giannis Antetokounmpo told the media after winning against the Hawks.
