The Milwaukee Bucks seemed to be in a miserable state in the pre-season games. But have started the 2020-21 season on a good note. In their latest encounter against the Atlanta HawksGiannis Antetokounmpo led his Bucks with 27 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. The Milwaukee Bucks have gathered a 10-6 record so far in the season and did seem to be improving on their loopholes in this game against the Hawks.

The Hawks were playing without their 2 marquee players, Trae Young and Clint Capela. The former could have made a huge difference on the offensive end. Whereas Capela’s rebounding and defensive abilities need no introduction to anyone. As a result, the Bucks outscored the Hawks in the paint 60-30 and had a 51-38 advantage in rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored another double-double for the Bucks

“We actually did our walkthrough for Atlanta yesterday,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “We spent a lot of time on Trae Young. He’s one of the elite young players in the league, but you have to adjust.”

De’Andre led the Atlanta Hawks scoring 33 points. Whereas John Collins drained 30 points for the Hawks, who saw their 3-game winning streak come to an end.

“He was just trying to get us going,” Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce said about De’Andre Hunter. “You see the ball go in and you get the feel a little bit and we needed every bit of it.”

“I think in the third our intensity was pretty low,” said Milwaukee Bucks’ Jrue Holiday, who had 15 points. “I feel like if we had come out in the third and just threw a haymaker at them, the game would have been different and we could have been up by 30.”
