WATCH: Giannis Antetokounmpo hit with ‘too small’ gesture by Celtics champ Jaylen Brown
Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been making the headlines lately for his recent interaction with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown
In one of the season’s most thrilling games, the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks played until the very end on Friday night. Despite a tense game throughout the evening, the Celtics ultimately prevailed, completing a 3-0 campaign sweep of the Bucks. However, it was Celtics star Jaylen Brown and Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo that stole the attention.
This game had it all. Huge baskets in the fourth, three-point lulls, and everything else. It was even a little chippy. Giannis Antetokounmpo was taken to the rack and scored over by Jaylen Brown early in the third quarter. This led to Brown doing the ‘too small’ celebration in front of the Bucks star. Antetokounmpo responded to Brown’s too-small gesture by chicken-winging him.
However, it was Brown who received a technical foul from the referee for his ‘too small’ gesture. It’s important to note that Brown and Antetokounmpo have been going at each other since their previous two matchups this season. Brown also labeled the Bucks star ‘a small kid’ for his previous stunt on him in their last matchup.

There is now a substantial beef history between Brown and Antetokounmpo. When their two teams last played in November, Antetokounmpo accidentally elbowed Brown in the head and then pretended to shake hands in a peace gesture, which infuriated Brown. Nevertheless, Brown had the last laugh as his team won all the 3 times they faced the Bucks this season.
Celtics HC Joe Mazzulla pleased with Jaylen Brown receiving a ‘technical foul’ against Bucks
After making a hard shot over the two-time MVP, Jaylen Brown gave Giannis Antetokounmpo a legendary “too small” remark on Friday night. In the process, Brown received a technical foul for his stunts towards Antetokounmpo which left the Boston Celtics star frustrated. However, his head coach Joe Mazzulla offered a different perspective regarding the technical foul.
I thought the elbow to the face kind of unlocked Jaylen a little bit. I thought the technical was tremendous. And I thought from there on in, it just brought out an edge in us.
After the game, Joe Mazzulla told the reporters
Joe Mazzulla believes Giannis elbowing Jaylen Brown unlocked the Celtics:

Mazzulla is known for his hilarious responses during his press conferences. He often bamboozled the reporters with his responses. This one was no different. On the other hand, Mazzulla does have a point as Brown performed at his best in the second half of the game. Brown finished the game with 25 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds.
