Giannis Antetokounmpo, Draymond Green and Jaylen Brown
NBA stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown were involved in an incident during their last week matchup. Antetokounmpo had attempted a fake handshake on Brown which did not go down well with the Boston Celtics star. Brown termed it ‘childish’ after the game ended. However, the matter did not end there as it sparked various reactions among NBA fans.
Most recently, Golden State Warriors star man Draymond Green chimed in with his views on this particular incident. He dissected the absurd situation on “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis” and likened Antetokounmpo’s actions to those of a younger version of LeBron James. He had a hilarious reaction to Antetokounmpo’s recent stunts.

Green asserted that similar to James, Antetokounmpo has a lighthearted demeanor that may come across as immature. He clarified that the Bucks star is free to be a little silly, since he doesn’t care too much about how he comes across to the public.
Furthermore, the fact that Antetokounmpo, a Nike athlete, accepted Damian Lillard‘s Adidas “Damian 9” sneaker as a gift from his teammate also made the Warriors defender laugh. This is because Nike and Adidas are major rivals in the shoe business, but that doesn’t bother Antetokounmpo.
Nike chimed in on Giannis Antetokounmpo-Jaylen Brown ‘beef’
Nike shared their thoughts on the latest conflict between Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. This was after Antetokounmpo dropped a masterclass on the Detroit Pistons, scoring his season-high 59 points against them. This led to Nike taking to social media platform X, to share their thoughts.
This was a subtle dig towards Browns as he earlier called the Bucks forward ‘Childish.’ Not only that, but this particular post has also garnered around 13.5 million views, making rounds on the internet.
Nothing childish about ‘em. 59 for the Greek freak.

It’s important to note that, Brown and Nike have a history. Both parties don’t see eye-to-eye with Brown lashing at them during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Celtics star claimed that Nike had a role to play in him not being selected for Team USA during the Paris Olympics. This was because Brown had rejected a deal from Nike in the past.
