Brian Daboll has lost a lot of pounds. The New York Giants head coach’s new avatar has sent shockwaves online.

Both Daboll and his wife Beth showed off their toned-down physique during the Giants’ 100th-anniversary celebration. Several images of the pair posing in front of the camera at the ‘New York Giants 100: A Night with Legends,’ on Wednesday, June 20 surfaced on social media.

Despite being the target of ridicule for his awful head coaching performance last season, Daboll earned a lot of praise for a change. However, they also took a dig at the pair for allegedly using the help of Ozempic to lose several inches of waist size.

Now it’s unclear whether Brian Daboll and his wife used Ozempic because the New York Times reported it’s not readily available in drugstores. However, Daboll being a coach of an NFL team has vast resources.

The reason behind Daboll gaining and losing weight

Losing weight takes time and effort. However, gaining weight is an even longer process. In the 49-year-old’s case, he started binge eating while employed by the Cleveland Browns. Tony Grossi of Cleveland.com revealed the story.

He’d pore over film until 2 or 3 in the morning with whoppers and soft drinks. He [would] sleep little and exercised less. But the team turned around late and won its last four games. Daboll’s turnaround continued in the offseason. He lost 65 pounds by eating better and exercising more.

Earlier this year, Daboll claimed losing weight was like ‘throwing a chair off a yacht.’ The former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator credited his wife for accompanying him on his journey and his former boss, Bills head coach Sean McDermott, for encouraging him.
