Shedeur Sanders cemented himself as the cream of the crop in the 2025 NFL quarterback class. Several quarterback-needy teams have eyes on the Colorado graduate as their next franchise man, but only one can acquire his services.
As per the recent mock drafts, Sanders is projected to be the first quarterback off the board and potentially be the first overall pick. The Tennessee Titans currently hold the first pick and their top brass chatted with Sanders on Friday as he prepared for Sunday’s East-West Shrine Bowl.
Meanwhile, Giants rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. appeared on New York SportsTV with host and Super Bowl winner Brandon London. London asked Tracy which quarterback the Giants should draft. The 25-year-old’s answer might shock the Giants’ front office.

Tracy didn’t forget to add that choosing Ward over Shedeur Sanders is entirely his perspective, and it has nothing to do with the Giants.
Giants contingent spent time with Shedeur Sanders
After the Titans had their fill, it was time for the Giants to try their luck and persuasion skills to woo Sanders. Daboll and GM Joe Schoen were present in Arlington on Saturday and spoke with Shedeur for a while.
Chat Sports contributor Marshall Green shared a video clip that gained ample attention on X. In the clip, Daboll walks up to Shedeur, and the two go through a flawless handshake routine as if they have known each other since childhood.

NFL scout shares insight about Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward
Senior NFL draft expert Daniel Jeremiah believes Sanders can easily be a franchise pillar depending on a few criteria the team can fulfill. Despite his elite throwing capabilities, many scouts point out his deficiencies as a less athletic quarterback. However, Jeremiah claimed Sanders easily makes up for the shortcomings.
