With his blonde hair, charming smile, and golden retriever energy, Jaxson Dart has become the media’s new favorite white quarterback with an impressive personality. Dart, drafted 25th overall by the New York Giants, has impressed the media with an act of inclusion in his first press availability.
At his first press conference, Dart had asked each media member to introduce themselves before posing questions. The moment had been brief but immediately resonated across social media platforms and sports outlets.
In the past weeks, Shedeur Sanders, a former first overall projection, saw his draft stock tank to the fifth round following his allegations of severe personality flaws. The draft slip highlighted the importance of ensuring a positive image is as important as effective on-the-field talent.
Ben Franklin Effect, a famous psychological theory, has proven that people tend to frame a positive image of one after they have done them a favor. The recent act of inclusion from Jaxson Dart stepped out of common transactional interactions between players and the press. He also broke free of the detached demeanor showcased by athletes in early career years.
By asking and acknowledging each media member present, Dart subtly created micro-moments of investment. The act has garnered major attention from social media, which are associating Dart’s strong interpersonal sensitivity as a quality of a transformational leader.

In a video uploaded by SNY Giants, reporters praised Dart and his act. They acknowledged that it stood out, considering a rookie exhibiting such behaviour is rare. One reporter also noted that Dart is not just trying to win games, but relationships as well.
Jaxson Dart gained more love with the cute story behind his necklace
The rookie quarterback for the New York Giants showed up to his first minicamp media session wearing a necklace. The jewelry caught the media’s attention immediately, after which the press personnel jumped in to ask about the same.

The necklace, filled with heart-shaped charms, originally belonged to his younger sister. Not only it his sister’s, but also it is Dart’s good luck charm apparently.
It was hers, and I just saw it and liked it. It’s been good luck ever since.
Jaxson Dart said with a smile
Dart explained that the origin of the necklace could be traced back to his family’s home visit over the holidays, just before the Gator Bowl. After spotting it in his sister’s room, Dart took a liking to the piece. He wore it during Ole Miss’s decisive 52-20 win over Duke, where he threw for 404 yards and four touchdowns. That performance earned him the game’s MVP honors.
The necklace, though not officially confirmed to be made of diamonds, featured shiny elements that glittered under the facility lights. The necklace is not appearing for the first time, though. Dart has worn it during his NFL Draft night and his team introduction as well.
The necklace has now become a Dart family staple. Dart noted that his little brother has ordered one for himself. He also told the press that they had gifted their sister a new necklace. Moreover, he also said that his sister is quite content with her brother wearing the necklace.
The earlier act of acknowledgment and the sentimental nature are sure to win some hearts. Both aspects are significant of strong familial values which resonate in locker rooms and fan bases alike.
