Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen announced the news of her pregnancy with her third child earlier this week. The ex-wife of Tom Brady is believed to be halfway through her pregnancy and her boyfriend Jiu-Jiutsu trainer Joaquim Valente is the father to the baby that is expected to arrive in 2025.
Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy comes two years after her divorce from Tom Brady. Following the announcement, the former NFL quarterback took to social media to post a cryptic message of his own.
It has not been an easy road for him since their marriage ended but prominent entrepreneur and minority owner of the New York Yankees, Patrick Bet-David, believes that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen‘s marriage was destined to be a rough ride.
On the recent iteration of the Valuetainment podcast, Patrick Bet-David cites Gisele Bündchen’s ego had a big part to play in their split. While the American population would agree that Tom Brady is a bigger figure in terms of popularity and revenue generation when compared to Gisele, the supermodel thought the contrary, according to Bet-David.
I think she thought she was bigger than Brady. I mean, I’m being honest with you. Go on Instagram. Who’s got more followers? I think it’s probably her. I think she probably thinks, ‘I’m more famous than you.’

To put it in scientific terms, similar poles of a magnet repel each other whereas opposites attract. That is what happened in this instance, per Bet-David.
Gisele Bündchen boasts a massive Instagram following of 23 million while Tom has 15 million. When both of their net worths are compared, the Brazilian supermodel is valued higher than the seven-time Super Bowl champion. However, in America, Tom Brady is a bigger star than Gisele Bündchen. In Brazil, it is the opposite where the supermodel is a huge figure.
At some point in their relationship, Patrick Bet-David believes this thought process of Gisele began to bother her. It might not have been the sole reason that caused their split, but it ought to have been one of the bigger reasons that led to the divorce.
As Gisele Bündchen announced the news of her pregnancy, it has been reported that she reached out to Tom Brady prior and gave him a heads up. Despite having split from one another, the duo continues to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship.
At this point in his life, Tom Brady is reaping the rewards of his hard work. While he is involved in doing his best as the newest broadcaster for FOX Sports, he continues to have fun and travel frequently while spending more time with his children.
