The GROAT, or Greatest Roast of All Time, was a resounding success on Netflix. The roast of Tom Brady featuring the likes of Kevin Hart, Jeff Ross, Rob Gronkowski, Drew Bledsoe, and others ended up living up to the hype and was as popular as it was promised to be. However, despite the comedic humor involved in the roast, the aftermath was far from a smiling affair for Brady.

Throughout the roast, a lot of references were made to Tom Brady and his divorce from Gisele Bundchen. Following the show, the Brazilian supermodel was far from pleased with him as multiple references were made to her now boyfriend Joaquim Valente, her jiu-jitsu trainer. She is not happy with Brady for putting her in this position and disrespecting her man.

A report stated that the supermodel was not happy to see her boyfriend be the subject of humor.

The spotlight was too much for him. Joaquim's a regular guy. He's not used to all the attention he was getting. Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that.

Tom Brady expressed his remorse over being part of the GROAT on Netflix

The seven-time Super Bowl-winning champion has gone on to express his regrets over participating in the roast. He was not happy with the manner in which it negatively impacted his kids. 

I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were fun. I didn't like the way they affected my kids. It's the hardest part. Like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something you think is one way it affected the people I actually care about the most in the world.

He went on to say that he would never do this again if given the opportunity but it is a case of too little and too late.

The Greatest Roast of All Time ended up becoming an instant hit on Netflix. It had such an adverse impact on Joaquim Valente that he went as far as to end his relationship with Gisele Bundchen. It comes as no surprise that the ex-wife harbors so much hatred towards Brady, after all, his roast ended up putting the pressure on Valente who felt that he was better off walking away from this entire fiasco.

Valente is not accustomed to hogging the spotlight. He has been a simple man and was unable to live with the fact that he would be considered the prime reason for Brady’s divorce. While there may not be truth to the cheating allegations, Valente has broken things off with Gisele which means that the supermodel is looking straight at Brady and blaming him for destroying her relationship.
