While the NFL legend Tom Brady has been focusing on building his legacy beyond the football field, his former wife Gisele Bundchen has prioritized her personal life since their divorce in 2022. Taking time off camera, Bundchen has been spending time with her family, and kids and fell in love in between with her jiu-jitsu instructor.
The couple recently made headlines after their pregnancy news broke into the media. Although the Brazillian model had already told Brady and her kids way before the news came out, she never intended for it to reach the ears of Brady’s fans.
A source close to PEOPLE magazine shared that, Bundchen “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.”
Given the backlash and negativity she faced after her relationship with Joaquim Valente became public– especially following the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s hints at cheating allegations against Bundchen; it’s understandable that she would want to keep her pregnancy private. However, this is one of the drawbacks of a celebrity’s life: one’s personal life often feels anything but private in the eyes of fans.

Regardless, the former Victoria’s Secret model and her boyfriend are thrilled for this next chapter of their life after also receiving the blessing of her two children, Benjamin and Vivian. While the precise timeline of her pregnancy hasn’t been revealed, she is several months along and expected to be due in early 2025.
Gisele Bundchen takes break from modeling following pregnancy
Since her public divorce from the Fox Sports lead analyst, Bundchen has stayed rather away from the camera. And with the news of her pregnancy, she is reportedly taking a long break from her professional modeling career. The Brazilian model was recently invited to walk the runway for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, last month but she declined due to her pregnancy as Daily Mail reported.
Gisele shot some projects all the way up until early October… but has since taken a step back from work to focus on her pregnancy.
A source close to TMZ revealed
Before Victoria’s Secret took the lengthy hiatus, Bundchen was known to be a top angel for walking the fashion show runway from 1996 to 2006. While the expected date for her return to the world of modeling is uncertain, she is fully committed to waiting until she is completely ready to face the camera.
