“Give him a real suspension” Draymond Green gets TROLLED for being “caring” towards reigning MVP

Draymond Green faced a lot of negativity over the off-season right up until a week before the commencement of the preseason. Over the years, the NBA veteran has been criticized for his tendencies of becoming overpowering and aggressive. Being in a competitive league, this is a very common occurrence. But Green seemed to have suffered the worst of backlash.

Sometimes, the former defensive player of the year has shown his caring and genuine side. Many people prefer having him act out of care rather than go completely ballistic. Dray is known for his extremely aggressive defending as he was criticized for that matter during the NBA Finals. However, he went on to win his fourth ring doing just that.

Last night, Draymond Green brought out the sweeter side of him while rebounding against the reigning league MVP. He accidentally fell onto Nikola Jokic after losing his feet eventually pushing his rival to the ground. The 4x Champion quickly came to check on the center to see if he was okay.

Before resuming play, the two shared a short hug and went on to battle it out as the score was almost tallied up for the night. This is a rare sighting of the veteran being as kind as he was but at the end of the day, his actions determine how he is viewed. Green has always looked out for his peers regardless of their inevitable rivalry. Fans took an opportunity to ignite the past.

Draymond Green gets his redemption but the Warriors fall

After a tough battle against the Denver Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors were not able to steal a win during their second game of the season. Draymond Green continues to work as their primary defender and facilitator while recording 13 points as well as 9 assists during the game. Stephen Curry had 34 points backed by Andrew Wiggins’ 23 points and 8 rebounds.

The Dubs had a rocky second quarter scoring only 18 points but eventually picked up the pace with Curry’s offense. It mattered when the Nuggets held off the Warriors toward the final moments of the game to take the lead by 5 points. Jokic finished with a triple-double of 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists potentially making another MVP race. Bruce Brown went 8-10 from the field recording 20 points for the Nuggets.
