Global Esports out of Champions Tour Asia-Pacific
Global Esports‘ journey ended quicker than expected as they lost both their upper and lower bracket matches. Global Esports is having a hard time all through this VCT season. Former VCC champions, Global Esports Valorant fell short in both #1 and #2 Indian qualifiers of VCC India. They finally made their way to the grand final of VCC 2022 through the wildcard qualifiers.
They tried their best and even pushed themselves out of their way and traveled to Singapore to get a higher edge over other Indian and Thai teams.
Stage 1: Challengers Playoffs
As the runner-up of VCC 2022, GE was qualified for the Stage 1: Challengers Playoffs. They had to face Griffin E-Sports from Hong Kong. Griffin E-Sports got the best of Global Esports in a BO3 series.
After losing to Griffin E-Sports, Global came down to the lower bracket and faced Fancy United Esports from Vietnam. These two fought face to face and had a fantastic BO3 series. But unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the third map as Fancy United Esports won the first two maps.
With that Global Esports have to come back to India now and prepare for the next VCC.
