“Go win it all”- Patrick Mahomes’ special message for Joe Burrow, wants him to make NFL history

Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow did the improbable and led his Bengals to the Super Bowl by defeating Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. In what has been somewhat of a fairytale season for Cincinnati, they now have an opportunity to cap it off by winning their first Lombardi trophy.

The win in the AFC championship game was a historic one. It was the first time that Patrick Mahomes lost a game when leading by 15 or more points and the Bengals came back from an 18 point deficit. After the game, Mahomes had some words with Joe Burrow.

After the game, Patrick Mahomes met Joe Burrow at midfield and said “Nine, way to play, man. Good luck, my brother. Go win it all.”

It was a great thing to see from Mahomes that even after having lost the AFC championship and having played so poorly in the second half, he still showed great sportsmanship and is backing Joe Burrow to lead his team to a historic victory.

If Joe Burrow can win the Super Bowl this February, it will truly be a historic day. Besides the fact that if the Bengals win, Burrow will have led a team to a championship just two years after going 2-14 and having the worst record in all of football, he will become the only player ever to have won a Heisman, National championship and a Super Bowl and all of it will have been done in just three years.

A lot of the nation wanted Joe Burrow and his Bengals to knock off the Chiefs because of the hate teams get for being good but now, people want Burrow to win it all because they are falling in love with the young superstar. We’re soon to find out if Joe Burrow can rewrite history and cap off this Cinderella season in the best possible fashion.
