A bunch of fans would’ve been left disgruntled over Goldberg recently walking out of a private signing event. The WWE Hall of Famer was booked by K & S WrestleFest, who had to dispense a note of apology to their attendees. In a post made on Facebook, it said that the organizers had all their items ready for the wrestling great to sign.
In the meantime, Goldberg was signing for another vendor. However, after he finished up for them, the 58-year-old passed on the word that he was done. The aforementioned post alleged that the former WCW Champion walked past their stuff and left the place. The organizers noted their anger and frustration over the move and issued apologies to all.
K & S WrestleFest, a wrestling event and memorabilia vendor, has issued a public statement and apology to its customers via Facebook, claiming a scheduled private signing with Goldberg “did not happen.”

The netizens had a field day on social media slamming the Tulsa-born wrestling icon for his perceived ignorance. However, there were a few of them willing to know the flip side of the story before passing on a judgment. ‘Da Man’ has yet to comment on his decision to leave the private signing. For the unversed, it’s the same convention where Bret Hart was also advertised for one of the dates in New York.
However, last month, Hart announced that he was rescheduling his meet-and-greet calendar for the month of November due to unexpected and unavoidable commitments at home. Despite the Hitman’s statement citing personal reasons as the reason behind his reworked schedule, a bunch of fans weren’t willing to buy it.
In fact, they came up with the theory that Hart simply canceled his signings with The Big Event due to Goldberg being booked for it as well. It has already been overstressed how Hart dislikes Goldberg to this day for harboring a sentiment that the latter’s reckless kick to his head effectively ended his wrestling career. ‘The Excellence of Execution’ has repeatedly called out ‘Bill’ for his unsafe wrestling style.
How WWE responded to the recent trade between Goldberg and Asuka?
Goldberg once went unbeaten for 173 matches in WCW. It was regarded as one of the most protected streaks in the history of professional wrestling. But many years later, it got snapped when Asuka remained unscathed from her NXT debut in 2015, and no one was able to put her down until Charlotte Flair did so at WrestleMania 34.

The WWE HOFer recently vented out his frustration during a conversation with Mike Burke. The former Universal Champion affirmed that WWE let ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ go on an undefeated streak longer than his on purpose. Goldberg brought up that he was a cornerstone of WCW at a time when they were causing problems for Vince McMahon‘s flagship WWE show, Monday Night Raw.
‘Vinnie Mac’ eventually bought WCW in March 2001, which Goldberg described as the dissolution of the side he was on. As a result, the other side, i.e., WWE, gobbled everything up. The former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle has never been proud of WWE’s acquisition of WCW, as he has maintained a firm belief that the Stamford-based promotion has never treated the WCW names in the way they were meant to be.
Goldberg’s comments about me are all over the news right now. But honestly, I’m not bothered by it at all. What he said came from his own perspective, and that’s fine. So there’s really no need to make such a big deal out of it.

Asuka later issued a sensible and befitting reply to the WCW stalwart. She revealed not being bothered by Goldberg’s comments about her, as they were formed by his own perspective. The current women’s tag team champion added that her philosophy revolves around having a vision to create something meaningful.
Citing that she has achieved every accolade that there was, the Japanese wrestler put emphasis on opening a new era and having the power to change it. A few days after both Goldberg and Asuka had gotten their words in, WWE aired a whole video package dedicated to the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ on Raw.

It seemed to many as WWE’s way of backing its top female star against someone who has mostly been ungrateful about his WWE stints. Also, it’s not lost on anybody how he also didn’t like the way his retirement match was handled by WWE, and he wished to change a lot of things if he had the pencil.
