Golden State Warriors seal $39 million deal with Rich Paul’s client Moses Moody
NBA youngster Moses Moody has reportedly signed a $39 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors have performed exceptionally during this 2024-25 NBA preseason, winning all their games. Interestingly, their roster has a mixture of talented rookies like Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody and experienced stars like Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
NBA insider Shams Charania provided a positive update regarding Warriors rookie Moody. Rich Paul, CEO of Klutch Sports, informed Charania that the Warriors and guard Moses Moody have reached an agreement on a three-year, $39 million rookie-scale contract extension.
This is huge news for the DubNation as Moody played a stellar role during preseason. Not only that, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr also praised him for his performances.

Moody was selected out of Arkansas in the first round of the 2021 NBA draft. He averaged 5.9 points on 46% shooting from the floor over his three seasons with the Warriors.
The Arkansas native played 17.5 minutes per game in 2023–24, averaging a career-high 8.1 points on 46.2% from the field and three rebounds. He has earned the support of his teammates and a well-deserved contract extension by the Warriors.
On the other hand, the Warriors are also looking to extend Kumingaa’s contract. He is another talented youngster who has been performing at his best for the Warriors. Last season, the 22-year-old averaged 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 74 games in 2023-24.

Golden State Warriors youngster Moses Moody has agreed a contract extension with the team. However, another youngster, Jonathan Kuminga, a fourth-year forward, has other priorities despite his expectations of signing a contract extension with the Warriors.

That being said, Kerr will be happy with Moody’s contract extension and will now be hoping Kuminga does the same in the coming days. Interestingly, Kuminga has been working hard to develop into a more “complete player” this summer.
The Congolese player has been honing his shooting skills through the rigorous offseason training that has drawn notice from Dub Nation on the internet. It will be interesting to watch how Kuminga performs in the 2024-25 NBA season.
