The 2022 Masters got quite exciting after it was revealed that Tiger Woods was ready to make his comeback to the sport. The legend missed out on over a year of the sport after meeting with a terrible accident that injured his leg.
As the Masters began, it was incredible that Woods could even manage to keep up, let alone with the front runners. After an early first day lead from Im Sung-Jae, it was Scottie Scheffler who took the lead in the event. Woods on the other hand, slipped further back especially owing to his injury. He walked out of day 3 in pain, after tying for 47th place, his worst career position yet.
“I need to score low tomorrow”: Tiger Woods wants to end on a good note

While it is obvious that Woods will not be securing another green jacket this year, it was evident that he was in pain after shooting 54 holes on day 3. “It was tough. Tough all around. There are a few good scores out there. If you play well, you can shoot a good score,” said Woods to express.co.uk.
Woods is not happy as to where he sits at the moment. He needs to shoot a low one tomorrow, especially if he wants to end it on a good note. It is however, taking a toll on his health. “It’s up to me to endure the pain. But I felt like I could still do this. I don’t know how many more years I can do this.”
