Anthony Kim drops SAVAGE 5-word message to critics after returning to golf

The golf world is currently abuzz with the dramatic return of Anthony Kim. The 38-year-old golfer is making his return to the sport after a 12-year hiatus while joining LIV Golf. He recently took to his Instagram account to all but confirm the news.

Once heralded as the next Tiger Woods, Kim mysteriously disappeared from the scene in 2012. His last appearance came at the Wells Fargo Championship that year, in which he withdraw from the event due an Achilles injury.

Kim shared a video on Instagram which reflected his career and gave some insights about his personal life. At the end of it, he would drop a savage five-word message to his critics saying, “Hello haters, I’m back“.

Following this, Kim also spoke for the first time since joining the breakaway tour. While informing to share his story on some another day, Kim opened up about how much he missed the ‘competitive‘ part of the game and how ‘heat‘ it brought to him.

I think I missed the competitive part of the game -- I wouldn't just say it was golf. Just being in the heat of the moment and having an opportunity to do something special, and I'm looking forward to having that opportunity again.

For a long time, golf fans had been demanding the return of Anthony Kim. They finally get their wish fulfilled as the three-time PGA Tour winner gets ready to embark on the second phase of his golfing career.

In this development, Kim shared a strong five-word message. This message though has not received well response from the fans. Some were confused on whom he was calling the “haters”. Meanwhile one fan claimed that he was “Perfect fit for LIV“.

Kim will mark his grand return this week when he joins the other LIV Golf members in Jeddah. How will his wild card status play come into effect remains to be seen.

Following this event, the PIF-funded tour will travel to Hong Kong to play in the LIV Hong Kong series on March 8. The spotlight in this events though will definitely be on Kim as fans finally get a glimpse of him after more than a decade.
