“I’m gonna get drunk and watch golf all weekend”: Charles Barkley looks forward to chaotic 2022 Golf US Open
Charles Barkley and Golf US Open
The Golf US Open is currently underway, from 16th to 19th June at the Country Club in Brookline. Two days into the course, Callum Tarren, David Lingermerth, Rory McIlroy, and Joel Dahmen are in the lead tied for first place. Tensions are however running high, especially as the defectors of the LIV Golf Series and the PGA Tour players come together to play and Charles Barkley is certainly looking forward to it.
Amongst the list include golfers like Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm to name a few. Talking to the host himself of the Pat McAfee show, Barkley said that he was going to watch the Golf US Open all day. Barkley is an American former professional basketball player who is a television analyst on TNT.

Charles Barkley is praying for a chaotic Golf US Open
“I’m just going to get drunk and watch golf all day today, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Let me tell you something Pat, I’m praying for chaos,” he said, causing both of them to chuckle. “I want the LIV Golf on top of the leaderboard. I want complete chaos this weekend.”
“I’m going to come home after work, start out with beer. I will just chill tonight and watch the Stanely cup finals and then I was like ‘oh the game is not till tomorrow night’, and so now I am praying for chaos,” concluded Barkley. And it is chaos indeed, as Mickelson faced a nightmare cut after the first round of the US Open.
