On Thursday, the eyes in the golf community were firmly set on the performance of Tiger Woods‘ son Charlie Woods. The 15-year-old took part in the qualifier event for the Cognizant Classic in an attempt to qualify for the event next week.

The young Woods had a rough time on the course as he finished 16-over 86. While the youngster did fairly enough, a score of 12 on the seventh hole derailed his train. However, some concerning reports of heavy heckling by rowdy fans towards him have emerged.

On other instance, fans started walking too close with him. Despite the warning of the tournament officials, there was no backing them. Another fan would demand an autography on his father’s “How do I play golf” book. Surprisingly, one grandmother pulled out her granddaughter from the school when she learned he was playing at the event.

In the end, Woods failed to qualified for the event. A score of 12-over 47 was followed by a score of 4-over 39 in the back nine. Though he will have many more chances in the future to qualify, this round would be something he will be hoping to forget soon.
