Donald J.Trump is one of the most influential personalities in the world. The 77-year-old has never been shy of the media spotlight on him. The former president of the USA is also a huge fan of golf. He has been spotted many times playing golf and also owns several courses around the world. However, the world leader has also been accused of cheating while the sport he calls he loves.
Recently he was seen playing a round at one of his courses in LA. Unfortunately a video of him enjoying his time soon went viral on social media. As per the footage available, he absolutely shanked his shot wide of the target. This led to many having a laugh at him as he has previously claimed to be a great golfer and stated he has won several championships.
One particular event regarding Tiger Woods is now arising as Trump stated he once defeated the golf great. Woods is arguably the greatest golfer of all time. The 47-year-old American has left fans speechless on multiple occasions through his stunning performances. To beat such a personality at their own game, must mean that someone is too good.
Trump has previously claimed he has the best handicap score of all US presidents with 2.8. This score is more than enough to rank him in the top five percent of professional players. However, several stories regarding his antics and cheating have surfaced.
According to Rick Reilly, Trump “allegedly cheated” his way through to earn this record and also used his tricks to beat the golf great. Let’s uncover his encounter with Woods and how he defeated him.

There are various stories of the shenanigans of Donald Trump. The 45th US President always finds a way to get the job done. When playing up against Tiger Woods, he knew he had to win it. This story involving Woods takes place not long after he had taken the throne as the country leader.
He invited Woods along with Dustin Johnson and golf analyst for Fox, Brad Faxon. While Woods had already established himself as a megastar back then, DJ was ranked number one in the rankings. So to beat the top two players in a game of golf would do a lot of good for him. He teamed up with Faxon to take on the golfing duo at one of his golf courses.
Since Woods and DJ were pro golfers, they took the regular tee while Trump and Faxon decided to tee from the middle. During the round, Trump hit his shot straight into the water. Instead of going over he quickly asked Faxon to throw him another ball as the duo was not looking at them. He decided to try again but once again had the same outcome.
Faxon recalled how Trump drove off the spot where he should have been first. He proceeded to drop the ball there and hit it for the greens. As the round came to a conclusion, Trump replied to Faxon’s comment about his score as “four for a three”. He actually had a score of seven but confidently brought it down despite that not being the case. Was it smart or was it cheating? This is something up for the experts to debate on.
