Eugenio for his and the team’s ‘first triumph’ at LIV Golf
The golfer has not only secured triumph for himself but has also led the Fireballs GC to secure their first-ever victory as a team. This definitely is an important moment for the league, the LIV, and of course the golfers’ personal rapport with the golf community. The player pretty much presented a calm and composed front throughout the event.
Whilst the game was on, he said, “The conditions are great and the course is unbelievable. “I’m actually hitting it pretty well, but I’m playing smart and I’m having fun, so that’s the key for these couple rounds,”
Lopez-Chacarra said. Eugenio was previously associated with the PGA Tour when he only turned a LIV Golf pro this summer. 4 months and a maiden victory have definitely been a fortunate event for him.
Sergio Garcia, the master tournament winner from 2017 also became a part of the Fireballs GC Team in Thailand, Bangkok. Garcia had suffered a knee injury recently but presented a strong front during the game. While answering questions on his form, he said, “Obviously I’m struggling a little bit with my left knee, but I’m giving it everything I have, trying to help my teammates,” and also wished that he wanted to present an improved physical form than he was able to.
Garcia also proudly spoke about the team’s great form and now that Fireballs GC is supposed to be one of 12 LIV Golf invitational series teams, it would be thrilling to see what the future holds for the team, following their maiden victory led by a maiden professional golfer.
