The LIV Golf Series is here to stay, and so is founder Greg Norman. The LIV Series has introduced a new style of golf- clearly seen through its opposite views of the PGA Tour. Greg Norman and Jay Monahan are both heading the two tours, but both seem to be polar opposites- reflected through their leadership style.

While Monahan still deeply rooted in traditional values of the game of golf, Norman is looking to bring in a fresh, new style of golf as we know it. Norman has introduced a team style event, as well as a shorter 54 hole format with no cuts. In a new rule as well, LIV Golf has started allowing shorts on course as well.

The glaring difference was pointed out clearly, as Monahan got in the mix of people to go around and talk to fans who were around at the fourth event of the LIV Series.

“We’re having a bachelor party for this guy. And we love golf. We’re taking the leap,” said the group of people who were indulging in the event. They were clearly enjoying themselves while having a couple of beers and sitting on the lawn area.

“You think f**king Jay Monahan walks and talks to people at the PGA Tour?” said the group of bachelors. The clear difference between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf series was highlighted through the harsh talk by the group of fans. “We appreciate it so much.”

Greg Norman replied in a fun way, saying “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” Norman mingling with the crowd certainly gave off a welcoming and accepting vibe that LIV Golf is trying to create as a Series.
